About Me
I am a research scholar specializing in immunology and viral pathology, currently seeking PhD opportunities where I can contribute to understanding how the immune system responds—and sometimes fails—in the face of viral infection.
My academic journey began at Kumaun University, where I completed my M.Sc. in Zoology with a specialization in Immunology, graduating First Division with 73.1%. My master's dissertation—a systematic review of COVID-19 conducted during the height of the pandemic—ignited a deep fascination with post-viral immune dysregulation and Long COVID syndromes.
"The immune system does not simply fight infection—it remembers, adapts, and sometimes loses its way. Understanding this is the foundation of modern medicine."
Since graduation, I have been conducting independent research, refining PRISMA-guided systematic review methodology, and building expertise in AI-assisted research tools. I bring both scientific rigor and genuine curiosity to every investigation.

Research Work
Systematic, rigorous investigation of immunological mechanisms in viral disease — from COVID-19 pathogenesis to ongoing Long COVID inquiry.
Immune Dysregulation in Post-Viral Syndromes (Long COVID) — Systematic Review
A comprehensive PRISMA 2020-guided systematic review investigating the immunological mechanisms underlying Long COVID and post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection. This work examines persistent immune activation, cytokine dysregulation, autoimmune phenomena, and the role of viral reservoirs in driving chronic symptoms. AI-assisted tools including Elicit and Rayyan are employed for rigorous literature screening across PubMed, Google Scholar, and related databases.
COVID-19: A Systematic Review of Pathogenesis, Immunity & Therapeutics
Master's dissertation conducted under supervision of Dr. Shankar Mondal (AIIMS, New Delhi). Synthesized immunological, virological, and clinical literature to understand SARS-CoV-2 infection dynamics, host immune responses, and therapeutic strategies during the height of the global pandemic.
Host–Pathogen Interaction Mapping in Emerging Viral Diseases
Ongoing analysis of mechanisms by which emerging viruses hijack, evade, and modulate host immune responses. Focus on identifying conserved immune evasion strategies and potential therapeutic targets across viral families.
